The two twin towers in south Manhattan, also known as the World Trade Center, were early Tuesday morning on 11th September 2001 targets of one of the biggest terror operations in worlds history.

11th September 2001, people on Manhattan woke up to what they thought was an ordinary day, but it became a day, that we’ll never forget.

About 8.00 AM local time two planes from Logan Airport, in Boston were jacked.
8.45 AM one of the two planes crashed into the north tower of the World Trade Center.
People didn’t believe what they were seeing. The smoke from the tower could be seen from almost anywhere in New York.
Almost the whole world was already informed about the accident at that movement.

At first, people thought, that it was a terrible accident, but at 09:03 AM the other plane crashed into the south tower of the World Trade Center.
People knew that it couldn’t have been an accident any longer. It was terror.

20 minutes after the last crash, The Federal Aviation Administration halts all flights at U.S. airports. It was the first time in history, that air traffic had been halted nationwide.

At 10:05 AM the south tower of the World Trade Center collapsed. About 20 minutes after the north tower collapsed.
TV stations all around the world were showing the terror operation.
