Here, we take a look at the plot of "A Sound of Thunder" by Ray Bradbury. By plot, we understand the sequence of events which compose a story. Traditionally, plots include five elements: exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution. Still, there are other types of plots that do not necessarily follow the traditional structure. In the case of “A Sound of Thunder”, the plot follows the traditional five elements as we will elaborate on below.


The reader gets to know the main character, Eckels, and his purpose in the company Time Safari. He wishes to hunt a Tyrannosaurus Rex, which he sees as the ultimate hunter goal.
